The UDC will perform training and community development in four primary areas: (a) workforce, (b) business, (c) organizational/ programmatic development, and (d) applied research.
These elements are designed to: (1) identify immediate and long-term client needs and expectations; (2) establish projected growth tracks; (3) implement targeted plans of action for increasing training and capacity; (4) maintain the quality of center projects; and (5) promote achievement of client outcomes and solutions.

We encourage those committed to the development of comprehensive workforce and community development initiatives as well as strategic public private partnerships to bookmark this page as this will be the new home innovation in urban community development.
Managing with a clear vision and comprehensive strategy produces effective and enduring outcomes. The UDC has extensive experience in supporting and facilitating local and regional strategic planning processes. The Center will work to develop value added relationships with partners and stakeholders to create sustainable platforms, mechanisms and tools for implementing innovative programs. Our evidence based collaborative processes help to create shared vision and ideas that mobilize people, communities and organizations to achieve concrete training and community development results.

The Urban Development Center, Inc has launched jobberwork.com. JobberWork is a national job board dedicated to bridging skills and opportunities for those with the most difficult past. Jobber Work is an extended workforce development tool for ex-offenders, youth, Vocational Rehabilitation consumers and others with difficult past. All are encouraged to post their resumes and search for opportunities.
